The Library is looking for someone who has an interest in local history and a sharp eye for detail, to tidy up and make minor repairs to the books where needed and give them some much-needed care and attention. Could be done as one session or dip in and out of when time allows.

Handmade crochet cat toys, with or without catnip. One toy = 1.5 hours. I've refined these on shelter cats I volunteer with - they're strong, sturdy and safe! Neutral colours in cotton yarn, with a small heart decoration 🩷

Hello, I am looking for any Ribbons, bits of lace or beads people may have in the craft stash please.

They are looking for volunteers to open up the tower and welcome visitors for a 2 hour shift(could be a one off or more regular if you prefer) during the summer months. No previous experience is needed, just a little time, ability to climb steps, enthusiasm and a love of our local area.

• General Gardening – watering, moving trays of plants, weeding (this includes the raised beds - which can be done while seated) and generally tidying up. We also have polytunnels which require replanting and removal of old and dead plants as well as pathways that needs clearing

• Woodwork – assembling products like bird boxes, planters and baskets ready for sale

• Assistance for clients – supporting clients (hand over method) with woodwork or helping them sort labels. A member of staff would be present but extra help means more clients can fully participate in the activities

• Sorting out clothes and donations – going through donations dropped off at Haylands Farm ready for transport to our shop in Ryde

• Fencing - assistance is required with help to repairing some of our fencing and decking

Community Cuppa is holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning next Friday 25th September at Ryde Library from 9.30am – 12 noon. They are looking for a few Timebank members who would be happy to bake a cake – cakes, cupcakes, traybakes biscuits would be very welcome! If you can help, please let us know. Members are also welcome to join the event and help support this great cause.

RTC is Looking for Timebank members to deliver flyers to get the word out about the new Mayfield Road Community Allotment. Delivery would be around the Mayfield Road/ Pell Lane/Life Ryde (formally Ryde Academy) area. Times to suit you.
