The Library is looking for someone who has an interest in local history and a sharp eye for detail, to tidy up and make minor repairs to the books where needed and give them some much-needed care and attention. Could be done as one session or dip in and out of when time allows.

Handmade crochet cat toys, with or without catnip. One toy = 1.5 hours. I've refined these on shelter cats I volunteer with - they're strong, sturdy and safe! Neutral colours in cotton yarn, with a small heart decoration 🩷

the New Carnival Company need help in sorting out their costume storeroom? This would involve making sure costume pieces are stored in the right boxes, keeping the room tidy so costumes don't get damaged. - any amount of time would be helpful - could be a regular hour or two a week or a one off preferably on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday.

help for IW Mardi Gras on 4th July 2026 in the afternoon, Stewards, people to walk alongside large costume wearers to 'spot' them and people to shake buckets or conduct surveys are needed. Minimum 2 hours - 3-5pm, more if wanted as we start the event from 11 am with Mini Mardi Gras in Simeon Street Rec.

I am looking for someone to install a curtain track and hang some curtains for me

We are Riboleau Community Studios and Garden and we are in urgent need of the exterior of our building being given some TLC. Treatment, filling, priming and painting for wooden doors and window frames, and similar to the wooden cladding of our building. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Items including pots (with soil) need removing from my front garden (easy access) and taking to the tip. Thank you.
