The Library is looking for someone who has an interest in local history and a sharp eye for detail, to tidy up and make minor repairs to the books where needed and give them some much-needed care and attention. Could be done as one session or dip in and out of when time allows.

Handmade crochet cat toys, with or without catnip. One toy = 1.5 hours. I've refined these on shelter cats I volunteer with - they're strong, sturdy and safe! Neutral colours in cotton yarn, with a small heart decoration 🩷

Dates for 2026 are Friday 7th August, Saturday 8th August, Friday 14th Helping at the Uniform Swap Shop. August, Friday 21st August and Friday 28th August. 10am – 1.30pm. This year it is in Network Ryde, St Thomas St (totally accessible). We would like some help setting up beforehand early on Friday 7th August (we will be there at 8am) and at the end on 28th August. Also after each session putting things away so that Network Ryde can use it for their next session. Come for all the session or just part of it – Just let us know the times you can do.
