Celebrate our 23rd year by helping us reach 7 million hours!
Help us to celebrate… and let’s get to 7 million hours exchanged in the UK throughout this summer and autumn. We have applied to a funder for small grants for time banks who want to help us reach 7 million hours. And because we are already at 6.7 million hours, the challenge should be a cinch! Join us through a brand new national time bank to exchange time with others; even if there’s no local time bank near you. It’s called “The 1 Hour Timebanking Challenge”. If we are successful with the grant, we will give you £300 towards your activities on the day. But even if we are not successful, we can still do the challenge with you!
everyone has something to give.
You don’t need special skills or qualifications to join this time bank, just a willingness to give an hour to someone else. It might be a friendly phone call, helping with a digital task, or sharing something you enjoy like music, food, or conversation.
Whether it’s online or in person, everyone has something to give.
Remote timebanking is all about connection, not location. You can support someone by video call, phone, or even messaging; from tech support and tutoring to companionship and conversation.
We’ll help you get started and feel confident about your first swap.
