Hi, I would really like help at our Tuesday morning. 10am-12pm and Thursday evenings. 6pm-8pm Open door sessions. I need one other person to support with admin. market research and having a cuppa with me, One extra person per session would be great. I don't expect anyone to commit to all sessions but anyone who is interested please get in touch!

Social Media Champions needed! If you are comfortable using social media and would love to be part of the Lowestoft Time Bank team we would love to have you. We need people to run and monitor X, Next Door, LinkedIn and Facebook. This would only require around 2 hours a week and would include promoting our time bank and Time Bank Uk, responding to comments and general monitoring of your chosen platform. We have 2 coming up and would love members to attend and help with the set up, talking to others who are interested in joining and having a chat and cuppa with us! On Wednesday 20th March we will be at Gunton Estate Community Hall for a Community Welfare open day between 10am and 2pm and Saturday 8th June we will be at East Point Pavilion between 10am and 2pm for the Big Help Out event. We can get more complex if your query is of a more in-depth nature. I can advise on how to download toolsets to help with coding for beginners and to help with those inquisitive about computing building blocks.

This is open to all as we are not working directly with pupils. We have a group that attend on Mondays and new volunteers are always welcome to attend this. We are also able to access the garden at other times, including weekends, so if you are unable to attend on a Monday we can arrange for you to go when suits you and other members. The Big Help Out is an event at East Point Pavilion. Its bringing together charities and organisations in the area that need support from volunteers to keep doing the fabulous work they do. This event will raise awareness of these groups. Lowestoft Time Bank is attending and we would love 4 members to come along and support us in promoting the Time Bank. The hours requested are between 9.30am and 2pm. If you can do the whole time great, if you have an hour or two spare and would like to help we would also really appreciate it! Time - To be confirmed (approx 2 hours after high tide) Date: Sunday 4th August Place: North Denes/Gunton Beach - opp entrance to Links Hill Carpark 4 times a year we catalogue each piece of litter we find on the beach and send it to the Marine Conservation Society for their research and campaigning. We would love for you to join us and its a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
