Coronavirus Timebank Update

Woolmer Forest Timebank is still operating during this crisis but we are unable to meet physically in our usual venues.
We continue to offer each other support, keep our
spirits up over the phone, via our regular
newsletter
and Zoom online chats.

If anyone is feeling isolated or lonely, needs shopping or prescriptions collected, please get in touch and one of our members will be able to help you or we can put you in touch with agencies who can offer support.

Hampshire County Council has also set up a Covid19 helpline for those who need support.

The Timebank is a member of the Whitehill & Bordon Covid19 Resilience Partnership - a growing group of organisations working
 together to support the
community in Whitehill & Bordon during these challenging times.

As a member of our Timebank you don't have to be an expert......just willing to exchange your time and receive time from someone else!! It’s that simple!

We believe that everyone has talents and abilities to share and Timebanking is a great way for people to benefit and learn from one another. Timebanking links people to share their time and skills. Everyone’s time is equal: one hour of help earns one time credit to spend when you need it. Organisations can join too.

Time To Bank Time - A Poem By Luke Lloyd

Every first Thursday we here gather
For coffee tea biscuits and chatter,
To build relations, maybe friendships
And craft clever copy fresh from pen tips,
That's the theme this week at least,
To contemplate and shatter that peace
Maybe next time we'll paint or build,
Such is the nature of this next door guild,
We work as a team, that's you and me
To strengthen the ties of community,
Relates experience and discuss how to
Return our burb to long held values,
We gathered souls, we must ambass
And educate this growing town mass,
But I'm constantly bugged by this frank notion,
How do I bank time if there's no banks open?
